What if we had a game mode that used Competitive’s rulesets, including competitive points, only with SR removed. Kind of a middlepoint between Quickplay and Competitive for casual players who want some extra swag, or for people who want to practice heroes in a competitive environment.
I believe this would also help clean up the Quickplay environment as well as remove a significant portion of toxicity from Comp, leaving Competitive mode only for people who want to climb the ladder.
