Hello, I was playing competitive and both teams got 3 points… but only 3 rounds occurred, no 4th. Resulting in a draw. I am plat/ gold on everything except support( which I am playing here) in which I am hard stuck silver 4.
Can anyone tell me what just happened with the missing round and tell me where I am going wrong as a player… it is not usually a problem for me… except support. I am Open to any constructive criticism.

Didnt watch but guessing one team capped with more than a minute left and the other did it in overtime so only the team with time left got a chance to play for a win.

But usually it buffs both teams up 1 minute?
Only if the second team caps with under a minute.
If team A caps at 0 and Team B caps with 1’15 left… only team B gets an attack.
If team A capped with 0.01 second left, they’ve of got a minute and team B would have been bumped to 2’15.
Oh, I genuinely thought it counted for overtime too.
If its payload only yes but if its hybrid then you need to push it all the way with time

So only Team B get to attack and draw if they fail (as they did)

Keep working on your wall riding as Lucio!
But you lose first point because your tank was a lunatic.
On second when your spawn trapping them, this is where wall riding will help, you get stuck on the ground and killed.
It’s good to see that you are trying to be proactive, in silver this will help you a lot.
Your tanks game sense is costing you a little…
I think the big thing you should do, if you’re playing a lot of Lucio. Get in the workshop and find some Lucio roll out modes and wall riding stuff. You get that improved, silver players will find it a lot harder to kill you.
Ahhhh so overtime is bonus in every mode except hybrid?

It happens. In that situation, you all need to be in with him, or leave him to die alone.
His plan would work a lot better on a Payload map, it is a common strat on maps like Havana.

Similar thing happened on Havana game before… different tank, same shenanigans. I get we all have off games occasionally but 5:15 on a tank is just unreasonable… I could send codes tomorrow but I think tanks are the only thing stopping my climb
P.s I went from unranked to low plat on tank in a season yet I have been playing support since ow1

Thanks but my wallriding is better on other maps but I think it is the little ledges that you see on blizz world and circuit royale that can really catch me out, I think I just need to work around those
Yeah. If you can just do the basics on tank, you should get to gold easily.
Anyone playing tank and being stuck in bronze and silver is doing some weird things!
Maybe try duo with a tank that you know you can trust. Should at least remove some of the weirdness.
Well if I had friends above bronze 5 that played the game it would make my life a lot easier lol
