I cannot play with my friends that are on playstation while im on PC we both are in platinum but it still says “You and all members of your party must be in the same competitive pool.” It makes no sense i tried waiting for them and now seeing this was an upset
its saying both of you need to be on PC or Console

There is no competitive crossplay, so the game is telling you your full group has to be all on PC or on the same type of console to be able to queue together for comp
Competitive crossplay is not allowed. There is a few reasons why including framerate differences, pc can have a basically unlimited fps while consoles are limited, aim assist which console players have and is technically a legal cheat, leading to an unfair advantage for console players, and if they turned off aim assist for console players, pc would have an unfair advantage due to being able to use their mouse to more precisely aim. Overall its impossible to balance, especially with the fact that some console players use a keyboard and mouse but still get the aim assist. Overall it’d be unfair and quite stupid to allow PC and console players to play against each other in a ranked/competitive setting
