I had a really demoralizing experience recently wherein i found a game and while joining my game was stuck on the loading screen with a ping spike of around 400ms and the game stuck there until i was removed due to inactivity as a result incurring me a penalty, SR drop and Endorsement Drop all of this while my connection returned to a stable state within a few seconds of the spike.
