You need to address this. Currently
Placement matches: 0/5
1st Queue: 23 mins aprox, abandoned
2nd Queue 10 mins aprox, abandoned
3rd Queue 65 mins -Then it reset back to zero
Does that mean I’m at the bottom of the queue again?
So how much is my reward for 0/6 placement matches, but a total queue time equal to 5 games played?
Maybe set max group size to 5 or 3, then you’d at least get some of the solo queue players through.

I’ve noticed you’re a really low rank.
This has a really big impact on your queue times since the system is trying it’s best to find other players that are around your skill.
But because there arent’ alot of players around your skill queue times will bump up really far.
This naturally occurs it’s not something bad. Queue times will still be monitored, just out of sight of the player and reset. In terms of queue being longer then 10 mins. The game USUALLY has difficulty trying to have you connecting to others or vice versa.
I’m not ranked at all. I haven’t been able to get a game to even complete one of my placement matches to give me a rank.
So far this attempt is:
65 minutes reset to 0, another 30 mins on the same queue and still waiting
95 mins seems like they need to improve on that system
I supposed they could but they cannot improve player connections if it’s their ISP. This is something they must solve themselves.
It’s hardly my ISP. I can join normal comp as tank and get a game in under 2mins, support 2-4, and dps at 7-10 mins. I can join quickplay and get a game in under 2 mins. if it was my ISP/network etc. it would impact those also. Nice try though.
I’m not saying it’s your ISP, I’m just saying it’s not always Blizzard
So in this case, it’s not Blizzard because it’s CTF comp and is something external to them that is only impacting me only when I join CTF comp queues but goes away when I join any other queue?
Even mystery heroes pops in under 2 mins.
Current count: 65 mins + 44 mins
Yes that’s a possibility. But don’t overthink that. This issue could be anything. From nothing to external/internal issues. Just continue to queue. If you still find it difficult MAYBE consider creating a thread in the technical subforum.
I cannot help any further and I’m sorry that I ain’t the most helpful person who has answered your thread. But I hope whatever it is, it gets resolved for you. :)
Yeah I get it. I’m just gonna let it run in the same single queue to see how many times it resets to zero before I get a game. I don’t have to re-queue it just resets the timer and stays searching.
About to hit iteration 3. 65mins - reset to 0, 62mins (which will reset timer to 0 at 65 mins) Should be interesting.
As far as tech support thread, that’s a waste of time. As much as I’d like to believe my video card drivers, or DX install is causing it for this queue only, there is a certain amount of common sense I have that seems to be lacking over there as all they can do is input problem and read from a pre generated response with out actually thinking for themselves.
I suppose I should add; I’d really like to know, that when the timer resets to 0, does it keep me at the top of the queue, or does it put me at the bottom as if I had hit cancel and then join. I suspect it’s the later. I also suspect that it is only 6 man groups that are joining, and that’s why it can’t find a game for me to complete my placement matches.
Current single queue count: 65mins+65mins+65mins+65mins+65mins+65mins+45mins
=440 mins in a single queue
Actually after review, a game popped, and then someone quit at character select, cancelling the game. Must been while I was peeing.
I was able to join another match about 10 mins later. At least I won, but it’s 10 placements not 5. Wonder how long this one will take.
Now if Blizzard could explain how leavers are not a problem after waiting 440 mins in a queue, and having someone leave?
