Companies on Toronto map

On the Toronto map for Overwatch 2 you can see three companies on the buildings in the back. They are Cobra HQ, Manila Global Cybertech, and Essington Financial.

Cobra could be a security agency; akin to Helix, Manila could be a tech company like Apple or Samsung from the Philippines, and It’s quite obvious that Essington is a financial company (that might be linked to Maximilien).

They may not even mean anything and I’m reaching.

A lot of the business on Toronto’s map are loosely based on realworld locations. For instance, there is one particular stretch of shops that is nearly identical with another stretch of shops on the same street that the map is based on.

We have Halal Meditarian food, a lounge bar, optical cyberetics, and a Chinese tea shop.

In real life, we have a Halal Meditaranian restaurant, a beauty salon with an eye on the poster, and a Chinese tea shop. You could argue that the Hookah lounge is the lounge, but there is a secret bar with the same logo as the one in Overwatch out of the picture across the street (you will never see it in street view because the logo appears on the floor in front of the door, and only at night)

The other locations are likely also either original businesses, or references to existing ones in Toronto.

I should’ve clarified sooner but I was more or less talking about companies that might have lore significance. I know that often there will be random businesses on maps, but I thought the ones I mentioned might gain a bit of significance, due to Sombra’s web.
