Don’t know if it’s just me but comp seems unplayable. 99.9% of games go like this as a tank. I go on the objective. NOBODY on my team helps me. NOBODY on my team helps push the objective. NOBODY on my team cares or gives a crap.
Flipside everybody on the other team wants to play objective and cares about the objective.
Comp is just broken right now for me. I’m literally getting matched with people who don’t care about winning or playing the objective. I’m matched with people who want to play ranked TDM.

Straight up not your job, if it’s not getting moved a support will do it as that is their job

Have you thought about staying with your team and not going off on your own?
Maybe overwatch is not a game for you. Try something solo, like solitaire.
But see, that’s the problem. In my games, the support doesn’t push the objective. No one does. Meanwhile I’ll consistently see the whole enemy team on the objective.
The objective is important but killing the enemy team is what really wins the match. This is just general advice. Of course you have to keep the payload moving

What rank is this? It’s not uncommon to see players get tunnel visioned, happens to the best of us. Try to communicate plays with voice comms or pings.
Sometimes your team wants to make the “bad play” like playing bad angles for example, but sometimes it’s in your best interest to play with them even though it’s not the correct play. It’s always better to play with your team than without.

Yes, killing the enemy is important, but this brings me to another issue. Usually almost nobody on my team kills the enemy team. There will be 5 enemies capturing the point and my team will just shoot at them and not kill them.

Also among low ranked players there seems to be this idea that a tank can just go in solo and capture the point. Which isn’t so.
