I wish there was something more I could do about this other than sitting and waiting for the timer. Halfway through a game on Numbani and my internet blinked. I must have been out of the game for maybe 15 seconds. Come back and 3 members of my team have already left the game. We obviously lose, I go down 35 SR, and also have a 25 minute suspension from comp. This has happened two other times this season already. Would it be wrong to ask for a system to explain why you left the game (i.e. Internet dropping for 5 seconds) and possibly getting the suspension removed?
For leaving once you get suspension 25 minutes? Never heppend to me when i disconnected.
- You can still join the game after leaving it for something like a good minute or two.
- People can’t leave the game only 2 minutes after you left it.
- Ranked suspensions are 10 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, etc. I might be wrong but no way it’s 25 minutes.
- Stop blaming the system, fix your internet.
And then:
Also:
The first part doesn’t add. There is no way that you left only for 15s and had already 3 leavers.
These 3 leavers would have 50 sr penalty and 10 min suspension. Nobody leaves before the 2 min period.
Either you left for more than 2 minutes, or you’re lying.
For the second part it seems like you had disconnected back to back. You don’t get 25 min suspension from a single dc.
Unfortunately you just have to take it. I’m telling this as someone who had lost a lot of sr from early game crashes and disconnects.
The system can’t remove suspensions because this would be highly abusable.
Game going to be a stomping loss? Pull the plug and pretend you had a disconnect. It just doesn’t work.
Would it be wrong to lie and say it was just my internet?
You doubt the ingenuity of players in plat to leave games. When I got out of the game there was a timer on comp that said 22:46 or something of the sort, so I must have assumed that it was a 25 minute ban rather than 30. Everything I’ve said is true. I’m not blaming the system, I’m just pointing out where we could make it better. I know that Rocket League understands random disconnects with no penalty, so I’m simply giving an opinion
Spend that time trying to figure out why your internet keeps going out?
I’m not familiar with Rocket League but if there’s really a system like that what prevents people from leaving ranked games in the middle if they lose?
Blizzard has no way to tell if it’s a genuine internet crash or if it’s on purpose, based on that it’s the same penalty for everyone. You know you have internet issues, fix it and all will be good.
If the timer was 22:46 then you had 30 minutes of suspension and spent far more than 15 seconds outside of the game but more like 7 minutes.
