just a few minutes ago, I was kicked out of my competitive game with the reasoning, Lost connection to Game server. I had to install 80MB of something to try to start my game, after which we lost, because we were 4v5 for around 1,5 Minutes. Now I have to wait to queue again and have to watch out next game crashes, because they will ruin my day/night because of unjustified penalties which will cause some players to eventually uninstall the game. Especially with the new 10 Game full Season Comp ban. I mostly play Overwatch because of competitive play. If i can’t play Competitive at all for weeks, i will uninstall the game and look for something else.
All i want to ask for is not to burden players with penalties, who have Game connection losses, client/game sided.

I was also in a comp match when battle net randomly shut down on me and caused me to get kicked from the match. When relaunching ow2 it made me login and complete 2fa by the time i got back in the match was over resulting in a suspension. I tried to submit a ticket and they wouldn’t even let me stating comp bans are final. Insane.
Crazy. Got the same thing sort of. I had connection to overwatch, too. Connection on my whole computer was solid. Matter of fact, twice in a row, with a stable internet connection, I am TRYING to get into a competitive game. After the queue finishes, and I load into a game, I get stuck on the screen before everyone enters the match where it displays the player names/icons. I have a screenshot at the top of the screen saying “You are about to be removed for inactivity”. I now have 2 suspensions on the competitive record on a technicality to which I had absolutely no control over. I even got into 2 CONSECUTIVE quickplay games before this
For me, the character doesn’t let me use utilities and abilities, then it freezes and kicks me out of the game, with a connection to game server loss. Would be nice to get some kind of reimbursement. I don’t really need the percentages back, I potentially wouldn’t have lost, but the 1/10 left comp games of the season would be very good to get reset. I never leave comp games intentionally and I think I only had 1 or 2 Games, I left, last season, because of a connection/internet issue on my side.
Just the (stats reset/) 1 game left, reset would be great.
