It’s really starting to feel like QP matchmaking to me. I’m honestly just really curious as to how this works and if I just happen to have the worst luck known to man rn. I wanna guess it has something to do with the rank reset and people being where they don’t belong but I have a hard time believing I’m getting those players every single game I queue up for. I’ve been playing comp on and off for the past 5 or so days, so I can grind out a jade weapon, and I started out at Masters 5, now I’m down to diamond 4, about to derank again as I’m writing this. I’m trying to understand how, out of those 5 days, I’ve gotten maybe 6 wins total. I’ll have one good, actually close, game and then 3-4 games where my team goes negative and gets completely stomped and the games done in 10 minutes. I leave after the 3rd/4th stomp so I don’t tilt queue but when I come back the next day it’s the same thing, rinse, repeat. I’m not gonna cry about rigged matchmaking or whatever, I’m just genuinely curious if this is a “normal” occurrence.
