This is hard to pin down because we can’t quickly see ranks (or see ranks at all if profiles are hidden) but based on conversations in game it seems the matchmaking is all over the place. I’m a Gold 5 support and just got out of a game with a Masters support, 2 Bronze 5 dps, and a Silver 2 tank. I can see how this might happen for the initial placement matches but once everyone has been ranked, I don’t see the logic in the huge rank gap in matchmaking. The result is that most of my games are either steamrolling the enemy team or getting steamrolled. No in between.
