Comp is so terrible, cant be motivated anymore

When you have extreme unbalanced steam roll game from the start, where your whole team is 5/10 and theirs 40/5, where even if you had aimbot it would change literally nothing about the outcome, so your performance is completely meaningless in that game and lose and it says reversal, you really just wanna do unspeakable things.

And i dont believe in elo hell, yeah if you play hundrets games you will be at your rank, but at what cost.

Iam playing for years but somehow it clicked on me now, just why? After you experience the thing i mentioned at start, how can you be motivated? The ranked system should get completely reworked, you shouldnt be punished for big steam rolls where you are unable to change outcome completely.

Your icon suggests you completed comp ow ages ago. You already hit the peak rank. You’re free to give up any time.

I feel bad for the cheaters if anything, their games are probably unwinnable as hell.

Cheaters should actually be matched into a forced 50/50 vs other cheaters. Cheater purgatory where they never drop, but never climb - doomed for eternity :japanese_ogre:

Yeah i hit t500 in 13 different seasons, maybe its just time to retire,

Cant stand the bad games anymore, good games are fun but some bad games are so bad that i have zero influence on the outcome, it feels so bad, in valorant you lose only few points if you are doing really well and lose.

Here you can do well and have some thrower and you will lose even more then you got in last win, no thank you i guess :(. Such a flawed system.

perfect for boosting friends. plus if you leave, rejoin, stats reset. which means you’ll never climb. perfect for boosting friends.

blame devs for resetting match stats UPON REJOINING MATCH. thus making boosting a breeze. by “breeze”, i mean, “possible”, due to stagnate rank, since stats reset upon rejoining match.

But don’t you know, everybody LOVES the climb. Who would want to play with people on their level?

When ever i feel like ranked has got me down, I think to myself “you know qp is 5x worse then this” and i shut off the game for a day or two.

have no clue what you meant. perhaps you misunderstood what i meant.

Rank resets always create a sense of artificial climb, because what could be more fun than going into a mode where you are grouped with people of your skill, but you’re not, because everyone’s rank is out of whack lol

i said stat reset. as i was referring to: rejoins. in which stats reset upon rejoining matches. i wasn’t referring to rank reset.

My apologies, I misread your comment!

yep. its cool. i fixed it. i clarified.

man, if you are playing on an old account from OW1 days, I highly HIGHLY suggest getting a new account and starting fresh. For whatever reason old accounts have a far worse matchmaking experience. I think its because you have potentially thousands of games in whatever ELO you are stuck in, so the matchmaker is highly certain you belong there and doesn’t give you games that lets you prove you can play at a higher level. All those games you played while you were learning the game as a new player are still affecting your MMR in some weird way.

I had an account from the OW1 launch and the match quality was consistently AWFUL with leavers, afkers, whiners, and noobs who feed like crazy. So i made an alt and it feels so much better, its now my main account. I lost all my cosmetics but at least i get to play alongside more competent team mates pretty consistently (and almost 0 leavers!!).

Bro it’s cause your facing more and more cheaters/groups of cheaters who use a widow ult on you all game, know when your ult is up, can toggle an aimbot on you to clutch the play.

This is why.

Wake up guys.

Maybe then the motivation is that even matches with pro players can look like stomps
