Title basically describes it, all I do is solo que. all I get are either bad tanks, or horrible dps. I honestly can’t do everything

Yes there is a lot of luck involved, too much imho.
Its always weird to mention rank in title and not being in it on the account. Thats why i commented it. Why even mention it anyway?

Why even mentioning it? Because a lot of people dismiss the experience of low ranked players. Dont act surprised.

I know people mention it but sadly they often lie about it on forums not saying its OP case, but you never know. I dont believe others here automaticly anymore. OP even talks about seeing golds and masters.
I didnt notice he is on console so maybe low masters is really top500 there.

I regularly beat top500 players as if they were just some random gold players.
Every now and then I talk to top500 players and by now I think that only 25% of the top500 players deserve this status.

No, Masters is fine. Heck, I take everyone’s opinion regardless of rank. I keep it in mind and ranks tend to follow correlations of opinions but I don’t dismiss anyone based on X rank. I was low Bronze once upon a time.
I’m just saying a Masters trapped in Bronze has me calling (bleep). I wanna see the proof before believe such an outlandish claim is all.
Even bronze saying that would be enough for me. But I do not agree with statement that its completely luck based. Its not, but luck is part of comp.

Yes it is clearly a hyperbole but I completely agree that without luck you can have a very frustrating experience in ranked.
… and the job of developers is to minimize luck - it is hard sure but so what? I am arguing from my selfish perspective and I want more balanced games.
I think right now luck is a little too important for comp.

It’s not luck when your team is tilting and you make a motivational speech inspiring them to try anyway and you somehow pull off an upset win. It’s the little things that make the difference.

Dude, this is not Miracle On Ice. Its Overwatch. Pretty much regarded as the setting-the-low-bar-on-matchmaking. You realize a lot (most?) of the team fps games coming out now advertise something along the lines of “we are not OW matchmaker”? That should tell you what you need to know about this sht-show.
