its super frustrating how devs dont take overwatch 2 seriously as a competitive game and then simultaneously offer nothing else for serious players to do.

There isnt another game pulling me in…maybe im too old.
Last game i no-lifed was New World but thats an even worse disaster than ow mmr.
If Season 4 doesn’t fix the ranked experience, I might consider switching to Valorant.
…But then again, the problem with Valorant is that it gets stale fast. Whereas Overwatch always feels fresh because of hero diversity. I wish we could have the best of both worlds: the competitive integrity of Valorant + hero diversity and unique gameplay of Overwatch.
Main reason why ranked experience is bad isn’t even because of bad hero balancing at this point. But rather bad ranked system + lack of players.
i might just drop this game at this rate, ranks are inflated due to a system catered to new players, and balancing has made a turn for the worst. This “competetive” game has become more casual than anything, and even then it isnt fun anymore.
