Hey everyone,
Overwatch 2 issue! I’m on console (Xbox Series X) and under the controls/commutation/communication options, I can only see and change 6 of the 8 communication wheel options (emote, hello, ultimate status, voice line, acknowledge and thanks) . The one on the right and bottom right have disappeared (fall back and need help). I can access them in game but I’d like to change them!
Is anyone experiencing anything similar or have any ideas?
I play on pc and the same happens to me. The right one and the bottom one are not showing in the menu so I can change them.
A bit more info: They seem to be the ones I customised in the original Overwatch. I changed them to Need Help and Fall Back respectively.

Well, I just wish they make “Fall Back” remain a voiceline as well, not necessarily only a ping in the world.
I think we’ve found the cause of the bug: if you equipped a Communication Wheel phrase in OW1 that’s now attributed to the OW2 Ping system, you can’t see or edit it through the Communication Wheel settings.
For example: “Fall back”, “need help”, “3,2,1… go!”
No work around yet though.
This needs a bump because I can report the same problem, I only have 3 options left to change in the options, no way to change the other 7 they just don’t show up.

What is the point of removing those options if they still exist? I can’t put “fall back/going in/etc” to a specific direction but if they were previously assigned then I can still use them? Pointless! And if they were put on a direction it no longer shows on the communication options, then due to this bug I can’t see it, at that point I am unable to unassign it… without returning that entire character to default options - NO!
Why were they even removed? If it ain’t broke then don’t fix it. Just put the damned options back in, please.
I think it’s clearly an unintended consequence of introducing the ping system. These things happen in software development - you change one thing and it breaks something else you hadn’t thought about.
That said, please fix!
