There are some serious issues with the communication system in overwatch. the communications changes during a game, every game. For example if i use the “group up” on the coms wheel it will say “I am with you”. Or if i try use the “yes” i have a keybind for it will say “on my way”…
then the keybind for “sorry” and “you are welcome” only works about 30% of the time… Its really frustrating that the voicelines don’t match the set configuration, and also they only work at certain times. It prevents communication and confuses all the team. Is there no way to disable this “assume what i want to say”
sometimes this can be influenced by others around you.
if someone says ‘attack the objective’ and you are doing something else and press ‘Yes’ it can change to ‘on my way’ due to the context around each hero.
This can also be within context of the heroes you are playing. Supports are more likley to get the ‘i am with you’ as that is where supports would usually be.
Keep testing it and see if you can get a replay code of the issue happening.
