Communication issue

Communication is still an issue in this game I don’t know how it’s still considered as a team-based game if no one doesn’t want to get on the mic. If you plant or below you’re a technically screwed. I have mentioned this in the past there is no stability no strategy and no morale.
I play this game for 7 years and it’s still the same BS at least where there were two tanks there are other tank was always in chat. This is why the ring system need to change based off progression system. I don’t think that the entire team needs to lose the same as SR.
If Sr determine the ring system why don’t we follow by its meaning. You can have a Cassidy with high damage high laminations in low death but still lose when is something like this it’s going to be addressed in your little round table meeting that you’re supposedly have to bring this game back to life

I believe it is most likely ftp that caused this. People are less invested and it became much more casual.

A guild/clan system would solve this issue. They announced clans before they released ow2 but i guess its not important to them anymore.

But below plat we’re in a place where strats are lost on a lot of people. People in the metal ranks (and I include myself amongst them) very often come up with terrible, self-serving ideas.

Not to mention that below plat you’re going to encounter people who clutter comms. People who spend their games complaining and barking orders, rather than actually saying anything of merit. It gets to a point where you’re actually going to be better off muting a lot of people’s comms and just playing the game.

Perhaps; however, I am personally a bit afraid of the report system. Do not get me wrong, ThiccBuddha is not the nicest person. I accidentally called some kid a female dog at the pool tonight and that was so embarrassing. I had to awkwardly apologize to him because it just slipped out. He got scared when I approached him.

:muscle: :joy:

So, like, what if I accidentally call a teammate a kitty or something, right? I do not want to eat a ban just because someone is annoying me. Back in the day, when there was no report system on console, I used voice and I NEVER said anything bad to anyone that did not come at me, you know? I mind my own business and am usually quite respectful. These days, the chance of some beta moaning is just too high. Even if you tell them to shut up and focus on the game, that can get you clapped. Even if you said, “good sir, perhaps our chances of winning would increase if we instead divert our efforts to coordinating!” It’s just too risky.

I am about to drop fiddy big ones for some anime skins, bruh. I ain’t want to lose my precious waifu skins. Toga, please, kill me… I want to die.

Took me a hot second. For a moment I was like ‘aww that’s sweet’, and then the penny dropped and I was like ‘No… Nooooonoononononono, that would be awful.’

Truee thats probably an equal or stronger factor than ftp is. Especially since skins are so pricey you dont want to risk losing your expensive account.

What did the twirp do to ask for that? I imagine you taught him some sort of valuable lesson.

Haha that is a perfect response. I have responded to silly people that way before its pretty fun. I also like “now now children settle down”. Or I’ll lift them up with “youve got that dog in you, you can carry us to victory”.

I assume less people report in OCE because I’ll always bite back for some good banter. Afaik I’ve never been actioned.

Is it always a Mercy main for you too? Its always a Mercy for me. Sometimes the tank isnt a chad and it will be them.

They do be dope AF. I do like the Reaper but im a little let down reaper didnt get a Tokoyami skin. My fav character. Imagine wraith having a big epic Dark Shadow face.

There is a single lap lane and these kids were purposely coming into it when they had the ENTIRE pool to themselves. As I was about to complete my lap they would try to quickly leave the lane before I reached the wall. They made it every time because I had to purposely slow down each time. I was taking a drink of my water and he was staring at me with such a punchable face, so I asked him, “what?” And he started smiling and said, “nothing.” So I said, “nothing is right, [redacted].” Omg, it was so embarrassing, Slid. Why did I say that?!

I haven’t been to the pool for the longest time, but it’s so irritating running into people who breach pool etiquette.

You’ll forgive me for laughing about it, though. I’ve no idea what you look or sound like in real life, and this is such a Roadhog thing to do that I can’t help but imagine Hog chewing out that dumb kid in that gruff voice of his.
