Whenever I press X while behind my team it will always call “Come to me for healing” and I have to look away from my team to call “I need healing” to alert my 2nd healer that I need healing.
Today we get a new communication wheel where 26 customizations are now a thing. But still “I need healing” and “come to me for healing” are not separate communication lines.
13 health as Ana, press X but instead of calling for healing you accidentally say “Come to me for healing” to your Rein or something because he just happens to get booped into your sight line
Edit: STILL CONFIRMED AS A THING ON THE PTR!!! After nearly 4 years this still exists!
Please someone listen, I’ve complained about this so many times, and it’s being ignored!
DPS and Tank don’t have to suffer with this problem when they call for healing, but it’s so common to do it as a support. Please consider changing it.
I would really love this to be changed, it’s so frustrating to call for healing just to call to a member of your team “come to me for healing” and it doesn’t tell your 2nd healer that you need healing.

Alright but that is not the same as “I need healing” which will ping your healer when you’re a healer.
i would assume the i need help would also ping my location

It’s not the same as “I need healing” though. A lot of people only heal you if they hear “I need healing”
Dunno why you’re trying to argue on it, it should not be a feature.
It’s been nearly 4 years and it’s STILL a thing and should not be.

I still don’t even know how to do this on console and I have been playing the game for three years.
You have to look at a team mate and press X for healing when playing support.
And it happens so often to me and it’s very stressful for me.
im not arguing for anything, i said was content with the addition of ‘i need help’, which also works if you being dived as a support.

whoolly crap this is the bain of my exisistence. As a Ana main I have to be LOOKING at a teammate to be healing and then to need healing while healing just turns into me spamming “come to me for healing” while my Rein is getting his butt handed to him and i cannot look away to just say “I need healing” cause one miss dart means death.

Pls devs I’m begging you to remove this horrible feature, it gets me killed more often than it being useful!

I’m doing that and it’s still coming through as I need healing. Is it one of those things where the other players hear it as something else?
No idea sorry, but on PC you just look at another member of your team and press X and it will say “come to me for healing”
I’m pretty sure you have to “I need healing” bound to a hotkey for it to work.

Completely agree, It was the worst idea to combine “come to me for healing” with “i need healing”. I mean, what if the healer… needs help? (Which is VERY common).
I know people may not get this but supports need healing too sometimes and It is really counter intuitive to look up at the sky in the middle of team fights to request healing because sometimes I may not even be looking at anybody directly but pressing X still gives the come to me command

I know, but it’s just very important for me to have this changed/removed from the game, they should at least separate them!
When I heard they were adding this new communication wheel… I legitimately thought this would be ONE of the things they would change, as a support player it’s the biggest problem I have with the communication wheel.

They just need to separate all of the combined voice lines, it’s annoying not being able to say “come to me for healing” because you need to do it under certain conditions. Upon the customization update I really hope they separate certain lines.

Yes, I thought maybe this is what the new wheel customisation was going to do, allow them to be separated, but nope.
Was so looking forward to this update, I had secretly hoped that someone had saw my posts in the past and took it into account.
I don’t know how else to tell anyone about this frustration, other than to come to the forums.
They’re just selective on what they “listen” to on the forums.
