Colosseo Map Change. Why?

Getting those environmental kills were already difficult enough and never guaranteed which added something to look forward to when playing Colosseo. Why make that area more survivable and the middle less? No one asked for a rework of this map. Why did resources go into changing this?

Go ask Spilo, he made a pretty good rant at why it was bad specifically for ‘glass pannels’.

I personally miss them for specific reason as flex-DPS, but the fights were god garbage in that section honestly.

Don’t know who Spilo is.

I would rather they made changes to the spawns. Sometimes the bot spends 3+ min sitting or going back and forwards to the finish line for one team because of defensive spawn being so close while attackers are to far.

Now those final fights are truly garbage and more common. It’s like Hanamura point 2.

That is more annoying that the u turn.

i’ll take a generally much more enjoyable, open and dynamic map as a trade off for some niche boop spot that sees like 10 seconds of action per game

Fighting in those boop spots always felt awkward and cramped.

Aye I hate this change too. It’s a good spot to teach ppl how to position, also a fun spot.
Very bad change IMO.

Anyone who goes for that mega health pack is going to be easy prey for Lucio (except for tanks).

Actually Phara, Junk, Bastion, DVA, Rein etc can kinda boop too.

I enjoyed bumping careless peeps off the map. Its so fun and so rewarding. Hope they not gonna nerf Lighthouse too.

Many, many people did, me included. Though it was all just about the glass. The bridge a bit (I hated that part a lot) and literally no one asked for the spawn change.

All in all decent changes from the looks of it.
