Colors look washed and bright in random sessions

No HDR ON on monitor, Windows or in-game. The game usually runs fine. But in some sessions (per a few days) it looks washed out and bright like it uses the wrong color profile. Restart the game in same session won’t solve it and I have to restart Windows.
I doubt if any other games I play before Overwatch in the same Windows session can cause it?

Windows has several modes that adjust monitor coloring to “help your eyes.” Might want to look into those if it seems random.

It’d never happened before. And even now most the times it runs okay. I think it happens when I play some other games before playing Overwatch which causes it uses the different color profile (but everything else in Windows is fine) but I’m not sure.

Do you have a monitor that requires its own drivers? Some of the newer ones use different settings per game.

I don’t think so. I’ve played Overwatch for years on this rig and never had this isssue before recent.

I’ve never heard of this problem in the forum, so I recommend looking through every app you have to see which one would be adjusting coloring on your screen.

I think I found the reason here: it’s the setting in Nvidia App/Control Panel that has RTX Dynamic Vibrance ON. So, in a Windows session if I play Overwatch before other games, Overwatch looks fine. But if I play some other (Steam) games before Overwatch, it somehow mess up.
I’ll update if I am wrong.
