Client requested disconnect

majority of the time i try to play ranked i eventually start rubber banding/lagging like crazy eventually i am completely removed from the match and put on the login screen where it says “client requested disconnect” With it being comp i try to quickly close the game and start it back up and rejoin to avoid a loss or a penalty however im usually to late or im booted off again

ive tried every possible fix and it just keeps coming back
ik its not my internet bc its pretty decent

getting really annoyed with this issue

The error message just means that something on your network terminated the connection to the Overwatch server. It could be a router setting, a setting on PC or console, the network card, antivirus software (on PC or built into router)… there are tons of possibilities. Unfortunately, all the game client can tell you is that the connection was ended.

If you’re on Windows, reviewing your Event Viewer might help (once open, the logs will be under Windows → system).
