"Client requested disconnect"

Whenever I try to save a highlight, it immediately crashes and says “Client requested disconnect”. It seems like this has been happening since the game was released, because I googled it and the first result was a thread from July 2016 with a similar issue. Someone even specified it happens when they just watch a highlight, let alone saving it. Is there any way to get around this, or is it just gonna be the bug that blizzard can never fix?

I’m having this issue today as well. I tried to re-login from the screen provided, it told me that due to suspicious activity, my account has been locked (it hasn’t), and then provided the LOGIN button again as well as the DEV LOGIN button that shouldn’t be showing in production.

Same here. If I join a game, it lets me see highlights normally afterwards (though I noticed it takes longer to load than usual). However if I boot the game and click on a highlight, it kicks me out instantly.

edit: I also noticed it deleted all my replays. Could it be because my pc turned off while the game was still on? It happened before but it never messed up anything like today.

edit 2: If I play a game, the lost replays show up again! Just what is happening to my game?

Same problem when I view highlights or enter a game.

Hello! I found workaround, but it’s controversial.

All unsaved highlits will gone if you go on! New highligts saving correctly!

You need to clean battle.net cache folder (remove any blizzard or bnet folders at sixth step) and battle.net tools.

You probably can save it before deleting with your video card driver, like Geforce Expirience or AMD ReLIve.

This started happening to me too just now. I finished saving a highlight, then I went to watch a different highlight and it disconnected. Now I can’t watch any highlights period without it disconnecting.

Tried with both folders, problem still persists. Could it be corruption from last patch?

This is so bloody stupid, im having the same problem aswell here aswell as not being able to join any kind of game.

This was a problem that existed in 2016 and was patched and now it is back (: Nice work

same problem, cant join anny gamemode ad get kicked for watching higligths. something about “applying update” and “Client side requested disconect”
