I was playing comp. and I got kicked out of the game at the very end. There was a message that said Clint requested disconnect, and it happens to me yesterday’s too. And now I’m banned from the end of the season, for a problem that has never happened to me in the 5 years I’ve been playing this game.
It’s a blizzard problem and I pay the consequences… great.
There can be problems between your home and the server, without it being the fault of either endpoint. If the match continued after you left (rejoin button may appear), then it means the server was still working and other players were still connected to it. Additionally, things change on the internet everyday, so even if it’s fine for 5, 7, 10 years, you may experience an issue at some point.
The best way to figure it out is to capture a disconnect with a WinMTR if it keeps happening. If this was a one time thing, then I would write it off as maintenance somewhere between you and Blizzard.
The thing is I have another account, and I just switched accounts and continued playing the game. It didn’t happened on that account. It’s just so weird to have an account confronting those king of technical issues and nothing in the other.
