I’ve played about five games, and none of them has had more than one tank, or one healer.
I remember arguing with people on here who said that open q needed to come back, and their argument was that games full of DPS characters rarely happened.
Well that’s all that’s happening. Four people instalok DPS, then the last two of us pick DPS out of spite.

Its definitely not the same without the RQ. Definitely missing Open Queue 2-Limit right now 
Tbf, Classic was a really bad time for Tank and Support. Few choices for both, Mercy and Lucio are much more passive and less fun, no Ana to draw hitscan players, D.Va is beyond awful, it goes on.
But yeah, despite the queue times, RQ was the single best QoL improvement the game ever had.
Same. I played more OverWatch during the limit two weekend, than I have in the past 9 months.
I would much rather just have that back instead of hoping to get 1 good game out of every 20 in OverWatch classic.
At least it was fun while it lasted. I guess I’ll just not play until 6v6 role queue
If both teams pick dps, there is no problem.
The problem comes when one picks proper comp and the other picks just dps.
Yeah it’s almost like DPS should just have their own game mode where you can only pick DPS characters. Then they wouldn’t be overpopulating the main game mode
Agreed, I really want the magic of old character designs without 60% of the lobby needing to flex a role they don’t want to have decent games.
They should do open que and role que versions so the #nochanges crowd wont go wild
Classic has this name for a reason, it how it was back in a days. Adding more stuff and improvements will lead to Overwatch 1 “Last day” .
Eh, RQ is the better version of the game for the vast majority of the playerbase. That said, launch-launch of the game is a silly option to go with.
I’m guessing they’re doing the Classic Blizzard thing being like: oh you guys don’t know what you want, here’s not our best work because you asked for it, enjoy it, plebs.
Like just give us your best version of 2-2-2 RQ, that’s what everyone wants, not “OW Day-1 Classic btw you can’t adjust your keybinds”

I am watching streamers. All they have played is multiple heroes stacked. Like 3 widows, 5 hogs, 3 tracers.

they already said after this week they will bring back limits. let us enjoy this week though. sheesh
Limits aren’t the same thing as roll q. That just means that you can’t have more than one of the same character.

i mean fair but at the end of the day this is overwatch. Asking for role q when the point is to be exactly what ow was at launch hence classic defeats the purpose. They are working on a 6v6 with the style we have now with role q and testing it. that is just seperate from this. Just have to wait your turn i guess.
This event however is just for fun. its meant for crazy comp, crazy plays. its the 100% chaotic opposite of what ow is right now. It’s pure joy imo. It’s not meant to be taken seriously, its meant to be wild, comps arent supposed to make sense. They are going to be bringing out generations of ow in future events. One of them will have role que in it.
Just not this one.
this was only a issue in non ranked games
