Classic Bastion shows incompetence of the developers

It’s not going to be a “the old Bastion was better” theme or anything like that. Instead, I want to say that Bastian, being a complex character in terms of development due to the 3 forms, perfectly demonstrates the competence of the developers. I don’t want to post this in the “bug report” section anymore because it doesn’t change anything. Let me show you how many bugs just one character has.

  1. During the ulta in tank mode, if the Bastion starts shooting, its tank turret is replaced by the turret turret for about 0.5 seconds. The turret’s crit hitbox is also becoming active. This bug has been around since the first classic, there were even reports about it, they had 2 months to fix it, but the developers, as always, did nothing.
  2. Bastion can squat in the form of a tank, but in the original first chapter it could never do it. If the players weren’t lying to me, the third-person squat doesn’t even change the character model. This bug has also been present since the first release of Classic
  3. Self-repair resources are shown only during the duration of the ability. Even in the first chapter, the resource indicator was always present and disappeared only when the resources were full. In classic, you have to guess how many resources you have, whether they will be enough to restore at least half of your health. Even in community crafted, the resource indicator was working fine.
  4. The resource indicator icon is the reconfigure icon… Not the self-repair icon. So close. What kind of genius did this?
  5. Sombra cannot remove the Bastion from the turret. In the first chapter, Sombra hacked Bastion to out of the turret, in the classic she DOES NOT LET him get out of the turret.
  6. A Dumfist can throw off a Bastion with a blow. In the first part, the Bastion in the turret was not subject to being thrown away from the Doomfist. In the classic, a dumfist punch not only throws him off, but also takes him out of turret mode.
  7. Winston in primal rage can also drop a Bastion that sits in turret mode. Again, this bug has also been around since the first release of Classic

I didn’t even mention the minor bugs in match review with the self-repair icon instead of grenade, as well as the 0% accuracy of the secondary healing fire for Illari. I think the other heroes also have a lot of these minor bugs. What can you expect from a game if its developers themselves treat it like trash? I have completely lost hope that a revolution awaits us on February 12th. There will be no revolution, these developers are not even able to copy their own game, the classic showed us this. Probably, all we will see on February 12 are some pathetic changes, just to make an imitation of the work. This game has no future with the current team. It’s just going to die soon. I guess, is it time to say “Rivals better”? At least Rivals fixes bugs.
Don’t expect a miracle from Overwatch, just enjoy playing Rivals. I’m sure there will be a first-person view, because Rivals listens to its community.

You wanna make an omelette, you gotta break some eggs :man_shrugging:

They took a lot of risks both before and after this game was released. Some paid off, others didn’t. Which ones you consider a failure or a success is often a matter of opinion aside from a few glaring ones.

the ONE hero ALREADY HAS 7 BUGS. 3 of them alredy was before, they even didn’t fixed it. The things in OW changed releasing 2 chapter is game director and developing team. Honestly I like 5v5’s view for make tank funnier and makes supports important part for damage dealing, also like Phara rework, but that is all. After Illari releasing, something like changed, devs changed. Feeling like they even don’t respects their game, don’t love it. The lazy overpowered heroes like Mauga, Juno, Hazard, lazy skin recolors, lazy changes, slow bug fixes. You can justify that?
