So the last point on Clash seems to heavily favor trickling in and dying to stall and overwhelm the attackers (with wave respawn making the trickling even more reliable).
Is there any way to fix that or is it just a better idea to just hold second point and use the last point push as a way to make the enemies use up their ultimates?

Never push last point unless you are absolutely steamrolling. Let defenders cap their home point while you set up on prior point and recap. Repeat until you win.

If they really wanted to, they could apply the same respawn rules they have for overtime. The more you die, the longer your respawn timer becomes.
Edit: turns out your respawn only increases to a flat 13 or 14 seconds depending on mode and wave spawning is disabled. I don’t know why i thought it increased your respawn time. Maybe the ow time ticking down faster and faster makes it seem like respawns are taking longer and longer in the moment.
Unless it’s a complete steamroll, it still seems as though the strategy is to never got for the final point, and just hold them at D.
You just have to be careful of an ult domino from the enemy that could push you back to C, so cycling your own ults well is important.
Agreed, but my point is, it may be better to have a feint to make them lose ult advantage for D rather than go in either on equal footing or disadvantaged ultimate wise
True. It might be worth trying for a single tick just to bait out ults and secure your lead. But only if you can do so without committing ults yourself.
