i mean it wasnt bad, it just didnt add anything we didnt learn anything new about her
I mean what did it really show? Yeah, she is a pilot, yeah, she fights Robo thingis in a robo thingi but what about it? How does it tie her into the lore about Overwatch one bit? She still has zero connection to any character at all…
It shows that she’s (maybe) lost people, and I’ve never really taken D.va seriously until seeing that.
Is there a link available so I can see the short?
It was pretty mediocre sadly
Dva was the first and only responder? Like… come on
People guessed already she’s got PTSD.
The short confirmed it.
Yeah I do agree it felt very lacking… it had cool action, but nothing great…
I was expecting so much more, I think I just have high expectations now because of the Rein short. Nothing can top that one.
Felt like WAAAYYY too much screentime went to the guy side character.
What about the other MEKA pilots? It wouldve been way cooler to see them.
It was pretty, but it didn’t show us anything new other than DVa’s new best friend. :/ Welp.
It did a bit, we all joked about her being streaming mass murders as gaming session while now we saw her bearing the weight of an entire nation in her hands.
Also, apparently she can’t use her ult herself
But he’s my new sempai
Meh I still loved it
These forums cannot be pleased.
I was expecting more, I felt it was pretty mediocre compared to other top tier cinematics like Dragons, Last Bastion and Honor and Glory. It was very… lacking imo.
Had a bit of exposition but was enjoyable.
I mean… You can say that about every post launch cinematics.
Another disappointing thing… Cmon Blizzard!
Honor and Glory gave us a massive amount of insight into how Reinhardt has changed and developed over the years, seeing how his experiences shaped him into the man he was.
