I have been experiencing terrible FPS problems across almost all games - Overwatch, R6, GTA V (it’s especially noticeable in Overwatch). I used to play at a stable 120-130 FPS back then, but now it degrades to as low as 20-30 FPS and it was really choppy.
I’d start the game at 140 FPS, then slowly, it degrades to 110 FPS, 80 FPS, 48 FPS, and then it’ll limber in 20-30 FPS and it gets really choppy and crispy. It happens in other games, too, where I’ll start the game fine, and then it starts getting choppy.
I tried doing all the fixes listed in the OW web guides, but nothing seems to work. I made sure my drivers are all up-to-date, no apps running in the background and disabled some start-ups that are listed as “High”. I tried clearing my cache memory, defragmenting my disk.
I couldn’t get to the root and core of the problem. Is there any possible explanation to what my problem might be? I don’t think my GPU might be fried tho, although my Laptop might feel a little hot and the fan’s noise is quite noticeable (it’s not too loud, though).
Help, please? Thank you!
