Checking if Origin Edition codes are unused?

I bought origins edition for ps4 back in the day, and redeemed the codes it came with at that time.

Recently got lucky at a thrift store and found a XBOX copy in great condition.

Im wondering if theres a way I can simply see if the codes for Noire Widow and the “digital goodies” are valid, without having to redeem them.

Would maybe creating an xbox account and linking it to my blizzard one work? That’d make it so, if my only option to see if they are unused is to try and use them, itd tell me my account already has the bonuses?

I think you have to input the codes onto the xbox live store, then if it tells you that the codes are for the widow skin and other skins, then that means the codes havent been used yet. Im like 70% sure that it even asks you to confirm if you want to actually redeem the codes to your account before theyre used, so you would then confirm or no. Are you looking to sell them? Is this what this is about? Lol.

I wouldve though that those codes wouldve expired already, but you can check.

I stumbled upon a code for the BFA Deluxe edition back in April and bought it for a hundred. I wanted the “Zandalar” profile icon. The code was actually for a completely different WoW region, but I activated it and it worked. Despite the years and the different region, it gave all the bonuses to the right profile in OW.

It was on this profile. Unfortunately, I bought it just a couple of weeks before the permanent cheating ban, which is why this profile doesn’t show that icon. I guess I kind of immortalized the memory with that purchase by buying it just in time. Lol.

Nah, that’s my account since I created it in 2011. I’m just that special, that’s how I’d describe it. Just unlucky.

That’s really sad… I think I remember you talking to someone else a few days ago about them losing their account as well and trying to get in contact with actual customer support.

It’s okay, I got used to it over time. I installed Steam for the first time and started checking out what they have there, Rivals, PUBG, and so on.

Diversification wouldn’t hurt, especially since I lost three accounts that way, and the fourth was also banned for cheating but then suddenly unbanned. For me, that was a wake‑up call that maybe it’s time.
