Ive seen several players using ultimates way more often than what should be reasonably possible, is that a cheat? i.e. mcree players killing you twice in a row in a space of 30 secs, both times with high noon.

maybe they farmed their ult on one of your teammates.
If you want us to look at it then you can give us the replay code of that game to see how they got their ult so fast.
in terms of cheating, the only way to get fast ult charge is an aimbot but you need to be 100% sure its a cheat

I know it was arbitrary right here, but McCree can get ult relatively quickly by just clicking tanks. And so can a few other DPS, maybe it’s just you paying more attention to ultimates as of now so you notice things you might not have before.
Pretty sure ult charge is server side

I was extremely surprised at how fast Bap can farm amp. I know Moira can farm coal lickity split.
I think ult farming can simply be faster than you think it is.
This may be why I believe at least one shield tank is needed in any comp.
I imagine the reason is that there was no shield tank to limit Mcree’s ult progress in your games.
I have seen too many no shield tank comps that may help heroes like Mcree or Ashe gain ults at a ridiculously fast pace.
Blame Road Hog, Zarya, Dva or any tank that doesn’t shield damage from the enemy team.
Ult charge cost is different for each hero. And when you got damage boosting it also helps farm ult charge.

I dont think shooting a roadhog/winston/dva is cheating.
I think you are on to something here, just had a match against an opposing rein and he used earth shatter 3-4 times in very short amount of time. His team was keeping him alive better than mine but still.

Yes it is a cheat, but it’s super rare.
It’s easy for a system to detect, since all that goes server side.
An aim bot is much harder to detect cause the only things a server normally gets is mouse aim inputs.
Is there a cheat that lets my team use even one ult to begin with instead of holding onto it until the game is about to end?
it aint hard for a Rein to get his ult if you allow him to farm your team. He gains 5.5% ult per person hit in a swing and 6.5% with a firestrike per person hit. so if he hits 3 people 3 times he already has 50% ult
nope, but if its a reaper that ulted in your spawn at the start of a match then its because he did a specific thing you can only do in the airships on Koth maps
I just had a game with a Hanzo and he managed to ult seven times in 8 minutes, I’m wondering if he’s cheating or I’m just delusional. Here’s the replay code -RDZN55

I found a bastion cheating in competitive using this cheat. The way I found out is he got play of the game with his ult and the charge was only at 36 before he used it.
