Didn’t notice it during the match. Stats seemed normal. Never did all that much but the Potg showed this Hanzo with really odd aim. Like he was just waving around and it looked like it randomly got stuck in mud.
I go to the replay viewer and I watch some crazy gameplay. This guy is missing 4 out of 5 shots and when I say missing I mean he was 60-90 degrees off half the time. He couldn’t land more than a single storm arrow on me as Rein or Ram in Nemisis form.
So over and over the entire match was miss, miss, miss, miss, crazy headshot. Still I wasn’t sure because maybe he was really lucky once every 20 seconds. Took a full 10 minutes of watching him before he made a real mistake… he tried to shoot a genji through a wall. Several times I thought he might have walls leading up to that point but it wasn’t obvious.
The way things are going I don’t think games like OW will have any control over cheating soon without dedicated teams reviewing logs or maybe AI of some kind.

All the hackers play Hanzo precisely because it masks their aimbot. It’s possible to perpendicular juke it - but effectively if you aren’t moving perpendicular to him, an aimbot will hit you anyways, and if you don’t juke, the aimbots interpolation setting can be cranked up to lead targets.

Try watching the hanzo in slow motion. If he is flicking faster than humanly possible on a mouse, he’s probably cheating.
Worst of all this is probably the only game where calling out cheaters will lead to getting mocked and flamed while the suspect player gets cheered for havind “mad skillz.” The anti-cheat is like a door with no fence around the game, basically anything out there can bypass it and new accounts are essentially free. Oh, and my favorite is that there is a clear pattern: cheater’s team gets rolled, the cheater afks for a bit in spawn or in cover and bring up the menu to make “adjustments”…and suddenly you and your teammates are getting melted on multiple off angles with pixel-perfect accuracy. Every…single…time.

No, if hes flicking and micro adjusting in 0,25 hes most likely cheating.
If hes just flicking he may not be cheating.
I have hit shots myself that in 0,25 speed still appeared instantly with like a 90 degree turn. And i don’t cheat lol.
Most of these what i would call insane flicks i have done on a hitscan and I was literally so fast that it was actually instant on 0,25 in the replay viewer. You can do the exact same thing on hanzo, and i have.
If they have like crazy dpi/sens and they miss most but hit all of the important ones then you can also draw a better conclusion. I have seen hanzo with like 10+ sens who played at bare minimum 900 dpi and would just 360 with a tiny mouse movement and who proceded to micro adjust half his shots on tracer genji or phara and say it was skill. Untill he made the mistake of looking at our invisible sombra and throwing a sonic literally on their feet after standing still looking at her for 5 seconds. And then he shot he in the head. He said he had a hunch lol.

They are but thats not even the problem. Most of them have pretty simple things they are using. Defense matrix is just garbage and Blizz refuses to invest any time of money into it
I think they are trying but failing. Basically not investing enough of both.
