For real. So much cheating lately. More so than ever by a long shot. Really makes the game boring as hell.

There are cheaters in this game, but there are also many players who do not know what to look for in an actual aim bot and just cry “hax!” when they get repeatedly domed by Widow while jumping around in the open. The hackusations are plentiful, which is why we need a replay code to confirm.

They aren’t questioning whether or not there are cheaters in this game… they’re questioning the accuracy of your specific claim, hence the need for replay codes.

You are willing to attempt to back up what you’re saying, right? lol

Perfectly fine if you don’t feel like it, but don’t expect much engagement/sympathy otherwise.

My Widow aim is only around gold / plat at best, but I still get accused of aim botting occasionally just because the other guy thought jumping around while strafing gave him the illusion of sniper-invulnerability. When proven wrong, the opponent must be hacking!

You know, some of us have been playing against hackers for almost 20 years now as Adults… Bots may be getting “better” at hiding it but you can always tell the difference between a flick and a snap by trajectory, or notice someone cant make a shot for the life in them but seems to get a lot of instant head shots back to back. Maybe the person stares at walls tracking people.

most of us who have been playing against these for that long will brush off the first and second weird things they do, but as soon as it is a pattern we watch and report.

Which is fine, but why not post replay codes so other players who haven’t been playing for 20yrs can more rapidly learn how to spot and report cheaters? Why gate keep that sort of information?

I’m not saying you’re doing that… but there are certainly a lot of players who get defensive and act as though “I shouldn’t have to explain myself to the likes of you” whenever someone has the ‘audacity’ to ask for a replay code lol… that’s all I’m saying.

There is actually a reason, the Hack creators are on these forums, when you post a code they are also watching for what you see so they can make better hacks and the cycle continues.

Most people who demand a code also seem to get very angry when you do not share them… which comes across as sus and makes people think they are either a) a hack creator or b) a hack user.

I don’t post them and won’t for those reasons, i just keep submitting the reports with all relevant information.
