Blizzard didn’t say anything about the anti cheat or what they are planning to do against hackers
Fighting cheaters or even simple thing like toxic behaviour in game wasnt their priority in 6 years.
We all know, the more appealing the game is the more likely people will develop a community of cheaters, tools and even ready to put the price to get private undetectable program to cheat, this is how things work
I hope they didn’t already implement their new anti cheat in ow2 beta otherwise this is a fiasco, i do know that make an anti cheat is not easy at all, it requires money, human resources, a lot of time and investigation and so on… HOWEVER! This is something important and they should’ve already talk about even in the previous events and especially when you switch to f2p yet NOTHING has been done but i’m expecting something BIG against nuisance and for the good & durable state of the game.
It’s against the rules to tarnish Blizzards impeccable reputation! Really they just don’t want people to realize the game is infested and always will be infested with cheaters.
Where most other games will announce how many cheaters they deal with Blizzard will just remain silent and pretend they don’t exist.
I didn’t report anything i just posted a proof with my post that cheaters are already in ow2. Also i didn’t see anything mention that you can’t report publicly a cheater can I ask where you found that?
They haven’t named or shamed, you can’t even read the text because the vid is so low quality.
They will be working on their anti-cheat though. But every time Blizz picks up on one cheat, the people making this software will have developed something else. There will always be cheaters.
So long as it doesn’t get to TF2 levels of unplayable, I think we’ll manage.
I have to ask Qwaser, what do you get out of sitting around thinking up things to complain about with OW 2 release? I mean its a steady drip of complaints and so on. Cheaters in OW 2 was already known btw, nothing new here.
I have to ask the same thing about you white knighting every time that someone posting things against or about the state of the game, how do you feel?
For me i’m just asking every time genuine question for the good of the game, i don’t wanna waste my time into a game full of promises and lie. If you don’t like my posts just skip and don’t read them, simple isnt it?
I mean at least I do more than just around incessantly whining and picking at every little thing. I complain about a lot, but your posts are just the obvious things we all know already. At least come up with something actually of value to discuss.
It’s outright absurd to think full-on anti-cheat would be present in a beta, anyone can see this.
