Cheaters are killing the game

I don’t think I am alone in saying this but the game is saturated with cheaters at this point, some even group cheating, did all of the recent call of duty cheaters come here after the banwave or something?

Blizzard wake up and fix the anti-cheat, or do you just allow it for Flats to make content these days.

Cheaters aren’t killing the game. The answer has been staring you in the face this whole time!

It’s beyond that point. Most comp or qp games have at least one cheater on either team.
If they leave cheaters the way they are now in 2-4 seasons this game will be abandonware or just cheater HvH grounds like tf2.

Regardless of what forums shills and cheaters say, cheating is the No.1 problem in this game, everything else is secondary.

Hate to say this, but there seems to be virtually nothing anyone can do. Cheaters are ALWAYS going to find a way to circumvent any form of anti-cheating software. Be it OW, CoD, LoL, CS, Apex, Valorant, PUBG, Fortnite… whatever game is completely irrelevant. It’ll always be an ever-present problem.

I mean I cant say with 100% certainty whether some players are cheating or just godlike. But what I can say is that this season as a solo I seem to always be against actual groups of 3 or 4 players, most of whom are very clearly much better than my teammates (I dont blame my teammates though because it isnt their fault the matchmaker is bollocks).

Coping about what? You think there are no cheaters at all in any match on either team?

At all not. But not in every game like some posts here want us to beleave

This is why people ask for replays. People on the forums pretending that each match has cheaters lol.

Pretty much correct.

If you really want to avoid people who use cheat software the best thing to do is buy an Xbox X/S or PlayStation 5.

yeah, what some call cheating may in fact be people defeating the matchmaking system. Either by playing alt accounts or by grouping with a low level player and making them group leader. Those people may just be VERY good, compared to what average people are used to.

Anything used to give you an unfair advantage like that is against ToS, report and move along.

Yes but the bigger question is WHY people think there are cheaters in every match. Its what happens when you allow lobbies with both bronze and masters.

Totally agree that matchmaking needs work. But there will always be lobbies with far apart ranks when people can queue together regardless of mmr.

Agreed. My main issue is the conflict between putting massively different skill players together and also asking people to report cheaters. I mean, how do they expect people to know if others are cheating? The only way to judge is if one players seems massively over skilled compared to the other, but that is bound to be the case when GMs can be matched with metal ranks.

Fair enough, if players don’t know better to see what is cheating vs what is just a better player. Tho if they can’t tell, maybe they shouldn’t also say that every match has a cheater.

I just hope they delete every sombra invisible, im cheering for the cheaters in that case

How do you actually tell though? Seriously? Its not like players can see the code. IMO its unrealistic to expect the average player to know if someone is cheating.

Then if they don’t know, they should stop the accusations and saying that every match has a cheater in it. Yes they do exist, but so many ppl think anyone with good aim is cheating.
