Cheater caught clearly using wall-hacks

Hero: Cassidy
Replay code: 8GV60S
Hacks used: Wall-hacks, aim-hacks

Skip to 5:23-ish to see where’s blatantly obvious he’s using wall-hacks. My apologies in advance if this isn’t the right section to report cheaters. Other time-stamps below.

2:19 Odd behavior? Running around spawn not contributing to the match with his team. Hiding behind space in wall near spawn point. He is trying to make it seem as if he isn’t using hacks by playing dumb.

2:46 Clearly using wall hacks. He is looking at my exact location through wall. Again, he is off-angling a bit to make it seem as if he isn’t hacking. His crosshair was ALREADY on me before he even walked out of the doorway. No way he could have known I was already there. I was crouching the entire time, so he could not have heard any footsteps.

3:03 Gameplay sabotage. Figures he’s been caught and proceeds to suicide.

4:32 Around this time, he is looking at my team’s exact location well before any fighting has even started. It’s very subtle, but still recognizable.

5:24 Again, clearly using wall hacks to see my team’s exact location coming out of spawn. Notice how he is encircling his crosshair around my entire team through the wall. Even spamming a few shots. DEAD GIVEAWAY! 100% using some form of wall hacks here.

5:34 He is again using this off-angling technique to throw off the fact that he is wall hacking. Notice his crosshair again is very close to my hitbox through wall.

8:24 He is pre-emptively setting his crosshair on our Juno’s hitbox through the wall again.

9:07 Aim hacks? His aim is perfect here! He seems to use it on and off though.

9:23 Game sabotage again. Running around spawn area being completely random by walking in hole area near bottom of ship and shooting thrusters. He is definitely pooping himself by the fact he’s finally been caught cheating.

Meh Overwatch is dead… Its good to see Blizzard failing hard on all their games. Losing millions of players.

Peak concurrent users on Steam alone for past 24 hours is 52,332 (and there’s almost 33,000 online right this second) - and that doesn’t include Battle.net, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch users. You have some good posts sometimes but that take isn’t backed up by numbers mate. Overwatch seems pretty healthy from a player base standpoint although there of course is room for improvement.

As for OP, I’ll have a look when I get home. I recommend editing out the Battletag though to avoid falling foul of the “witch hunting” forum rules. Reporting in game is the correct function but it’s cool to discuss cheaters here anyway.

Nothing will happen. They do not ban cheaters. Game infested with them.

Is that all?.. try harder…

Where’s the proof of that

Recent numbers suggest players are up this month and have been roughly the same level for nearly 2 years.

Would seem the game just has a core, committed, audience and probably won’t grow much further.

Huh?

(Minimum character requirement)

I don’t think they realise Steam is only a tiny portion of the playerbase.
