I know you mean, and yes, the person is using it as… I hope a joke.

I also find it annoying.

What if we all decided to make human-generated posts emulating AI to throw AI off?

From my experience, the one in Bing really loves to use emoji. I like to use them back, too, when I end up engaging with it. I even remember this one time I was trying to teach it something about a specific version of Minecraft, and when it parroted back what I taught it, it even mimicked the emoji that I was using. It was so cute :joy:

Write a sarcastic post for a forum about how great copy and pasting ai generated responses is

From chat GPT:

ChatGPT

  • Efficiency: Why waste precious minutes thinking when you can copy and paste AI-generated content? Time is money, after all.
  • Consistency: AI ensures uniform responses every time. No more worrying about mood swings affecting your posts.
  • Creativity: Who needs originality? AI-generated content guarantees that all responses sound delightfully generic.
  • Effortless Engagement: Engaging in meaningful conversation is overrated. Let the AI handle it; it’s not like personal touch matters.
  • Avoiding Typos: AI-generated text is typo-free. Because who wants to be bothered with proofreading?
  • Universal Appeal: AI responses are designed to be universally bland, perfect for not offending anyone or making a real impression.
  • Impress Friends: Pretend you’re super knowledgeable on every topic, thanks to AI’s vast database of information.
  • Stress-Free Communication: No need to strain your brain. Let AI take the wheel and enjoy the ride.

Clearly, AI-generated responses are the future of communication. Why be yourself when you can be a robot?

Lately, have you noticed that some posters on the Blizzard forums seem to be behaving more like AI? It’s almost as if their responses are generated by a machine—consistently polite, well-structured, and sometimes lacking the depth and spontaneity you expect from human interaction. What are your thoughts on this trend? Do you think it’s possible that AI bots are being used more frequently in the forums, or could it be that people are just adopting more formulaic communication styles? Share your experiences and theories!

this was ai generated don’t hurt me

The people using AI aren’t smart enough to think of that, let alone the AI itself.

But damn, using AI to win an argument because you’re too talentless/wrong/both to do it yourself? Didn’t know there were cheaters outside of the game too.

It turns out that between the two, Wall-E was better at predicting the future than Terminator. There’s no need for Skynet to take over in a blaze of nuclear fire when humanity can’t even be bothered to talk to each other about video games without getting a robot to do it.

We are lucky that we can still identify it, but it won’t take long till it changes

You know, I agree. Unfortunately technology to transfer consciousness is unavailable to make it reality.

On the one hand, existence as a cool robot. On the other hand, the blue screen of death becomes a touch more literal. I’m not sure which way I’d go.
