It happens annoyingly often. Between rounds in comp matches there is a point where the chat textbox resets and discards everything I typed in. This is particularly annoying as usually chat convos start after a finished round and I am getting pretty much outraged by the game regularly deleting long sentences I typed.
This issue has existed since beta, so would you please mind just fixing it already!?!?!?
It counts as a new match, even though it’s not. Everything resets and it carries your scores over. It also prevents achievements done “in a single match”. Even if you finished your message it would send to an empty lobby.
Sucks tho. I feel like there’s definitely a better way.
Yeah, but it’s just an other thing they broke in OW2 that worked perfectly in OW1…
I mean it kinda hurts that OW2 brought like a ton of bugs on top of taking away some features after years of practically halting the dev of OW1 with the excuse of developing OW2… So yeah, I’m kinda pissed when UX bugs keep staying unfixed.
I mean come on, they make the beta PAYED just to roll out a half broken game afterwards? Maybe it’s still enough to milk 8 years olds I guess…
Well, I think the achievement thingy still applied in OW1, dunno bout chat.
Yeah. I get it. They definitely ruined a lot and at the cost of a decent game. I’d rather have OW1 no updates than OW2, personally.
They really got abusive with this new itteration, but apparently that’s nothing new, unfortunately. It is crazy how they couldn’t even craft a decent product with this itteration. So many bugs every patch. So many abusive practices.
They’re slowly reeling their BS back in but, OOF, it’s really frustrating. Screwing over your entire fanbase is a helluva move.
