The chat box either in game or outside of a match can become an unfriendly place with that are either sexually inappropriate or abusive messages.
if this is still in beta then it needs improving because i don’t want to be distracted by childish messages on my screen when i am in Quick play or Competitive.
You can leave the Chat if it bothers you 
yet it doesn’t give others the right to be abusive & disrespectful
leaving a room where harassment is happening to other people doesnt stop harassment
This is why Blizzard need to have a report system for the chat box. not having one just lets a minority go on a rampage saying stuff that can damage people mentally
Of course it doesn’t stop people. argueing with them doesn’t stop them either. And blizzard apparently couldn’t fix the chat in the past 5 years. I don’t even expect them to do smth now

well, lets hope for the best then. The worst people are these who feel the need of spamming racial slurs (Had a doomfist yesterday who apparently couldn’t say anything else besides the N word)
I guess people need to have a hobby.
Just use their regular report system, it is fine if you report people for what they say in the chatbox.

Some people in OW are just weird. I had people doing NSFW Roleplays in the chat lol
