My characters suddenly appeared blocked and all my coins also disappeared from my account what happened? i played normally since launch day and i had all the characters and now they all appear blocked. could you please bring back my characters at least?

Exact same issue, just logged in to find all of my stuff missing.

Most of my characters are locked, but I still have skins, achievements, all that sort of thing. I did not check my credit balance. This first started happening today, I logged in around 6pm CST, possibly a bit before.
I do not play on Console and have done no account merges.
I restarted both the game and the Battle.net client multiple times.
All Characters are available in the Practice Range.
All credits (Legacy and Current) are accounted for.
All skins, emotes, sprays, etc are all still set up and accessible.
I was able to play as the locked characters in Mystery Heroes, not sure if that’ll be of any assistance with troubleshooting though.

Same as me….pc only…characters locked today….still have all cosmetics…also logged in just after 6pm Central

Same account since release of OW1 and hundreds of hours played. Majority of my heroes are locked. W T F

Same problem here. Over 400 hours been playing OW2 since release. Had them all. Now gone. Why blizzard. Why do you try to fix then break the game ?
This BS just happened to me right now after we were booted out of a match due to a server error…

Same. I’m on PS4. Been playing since Overwatch 1 launch. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.
Same issue. All of the sudden my characters are locked like I’m a new player. Looks like I have my cosmetics but this is so dumb.

Same problem, before the last maintenance (50 mins ago) i had everything in rule, but now it’s like i have a brand new ow2 account

Same issue x_x so frustrating having having just finally gotten my battle pass and coins from my preorder back in june.
It seems like a massive problem for many players, they’ll fix it very soon i hope

Same issue here as well. Was working fine since launch with every hero unlocked and now a bunch of them are locked.
Same here I went into comp and nearly all my hero’s were locked. Luckily I won but I had to explain to my team I couldn’t swap because the hero was locked!
Holy crap lol, my account is max, I have 3079 hours on ow1 and some of that onto ow2. 569 hours just on tracer alone.
I tried logging on after que and got the menu to manually put my info in. Closed requed, logged on someone got hit that I reported and now half my roster is locked.
DVa, DF, Roadhog, Sigma, Wreckingball, Ashe, Cassidy, Junk, Mei, Sombra, Echo, Genji, Hanzo, Torb, Kiriko, Zen, ana, bap, and brig.
I also have almost all the skins/sprays/whatever unlocks. I have zero idea if im missing anything.
Got on about an hours ago with my friend and both of us have about half of the heroes locked
