You pick a character and confirm it and for some reason the game is deselecting the character. This has been going on for some time so not sure why it hasn’t been fixed or addressed.

This happens because the server from my experience balances the teams. If you watch, you’ll maybe notice that someone new is on your team, or your team is completely different. So it makes you choose your hero again.
It’s listed in the known issues thread. They are currently working on it.

nope, no one new has entered the team. so it’s not because of that, its just an annoying bug.
