the character select screen at the start of the match was missing entirely and the camera was glitched to some area under the map. Was unable to choose any hero no matter what i clicked and was shortly kicked out + suspended from comp as a result.

You can see i was still able to type in team chat but unable to click anything else.
Extremely annoying to be punished for a game breaking bug like this.
Yeah, the same thing has happened to me a couple times. I am playing in comp and I’m seeing like where the payload is at or where the robot is at and I am stuck there the entire time. I can’t use any other controls but I can hear the buttons moving, but it doesn’t even trying choose a character. And then you get kicked out of the game for inactivity after a while so I’ve been banned multiple times. I have abandoned games when I’m trying to get out of a rank so I’ve been stuck in like the same rank because either the game says no connection, even though my internets fine, or there’s this glitch.

This just happened to me! Learned from past experience blizz refuses to help in these situations though, so now im banned for 8 hours!

The same thing has happened in a few ranked matches and custom matches as well. I’m not quite sure what is going on, but it genuinely is bugging me that no one has fixed this yet.

i just got this glitch AGAIN lol. clearly the issue has not been fixed after 5 months
