My character models didnt load, Instead, enemies were floating red orbs. Friendlies were floating blue orbs. They were all the same height, floating where the characters should be. I could not distinguish between heroes. The player account names and healthbars were there, under the orbs, almost touching the ground. Most sounds didnt play like gunshots or voiclines. Projectiles did not load, I was playing torb and just relying on hit markers. Even the pictureframe in the bottom right hand side was just an empty frame. No character.
This was in first game of placements, volskaya industries. I relied on teammates to simply call out on the mic who is in front and behind, and when they were ulting. I blindly combod with zarya grav, even though I couldnt see the actual grav, zarya, most of the enemies, or even my own torb ult. I was able to use my abilities and place turrets but it was all blind, relying on the UI to tell me if I molten cored, or where my turret was.
Blizzard is trying to convince you that your harddisk is broken. Or that your Internet connection is broken in such a specific way still allowing you to play with your team mates online but preventing assets from being loaded and preventing a designated display about that special connection-related issue which is usually shown otherwise… sounds confusing… because it is
Well, I prefer the likelier explanation that there is just a bug in OW. Now it’s up to you what you believe
I had the same issue last game. Half of the enemy team and my teammates were red/blue wisps. I could not see my gun either, and when an enemy player swapped to Reaper, I could not see him at all (neither the wisp nor his tp VFX, not even the sound).
My PC is not a problem, I have a lot of free memory, and my connection is decent.
Um, I can’t share links… idk, this is the code of the post on Imgur: LdjHkfp
