I was looking forward to finally getting the Blackwatch and Scientist skins for Moira when update 3 came out, however I noticed that they’re not available to purchase in the hero gallery. There are quite a few missing skins for other heroes too, with no rhyme or reason as to why they’re not available. I tried searching around other posts to see if there’s an answer, but I’ve found nothing. It would be nice to get an official response on if this is intentional or if it’s just a bug?
Some of the skins that I’ve heard are missing:
- Orisa: Referee
- Reinhardt: Conductor
- D.Va: Officer, Waveracer, Sleighing
- Winston: Specimen 28
- Wrecking Ball: Lucioball
- Zarya: Polyanitsa, Snowboarder
- Ashe: Tiger Huntress, Socialite
- Cassidy: Mountain Man, Deadlock, Mystery Man
- Bastion: Dragonfire
- Hanzo: Okami
- Junkrat: Fool
- Mei: Yeti Hunter
- Pharah: Lifeguard
- Torbjorn: Lumberjack
- Tracer: Will-O’-Wisp
- Ana: Cabana
- Baptiste: Funky
- Brigitte: Feskarn
- Mercy: Dragoon
- Moira: Blackwatch, Scientist
- Zenyatta: Toybot
Its not a bug because tiger huntress ashe just got removed recently. It was there at the start of the season. And all these skins you mentioned have been gone since the start of season 3. If it was a bug they would have returned them by now. Its either a bad tactic to put those skins in just for you shop with a bundle or its because they will give them away for free in the future with twitch drops/challenges likes they did with socialite ashe and bitrate lucio
so, I actually noticed that if you go to the hero gallery and select a hero, then go to skins and click on filters and select Mythical, Legendary, Epic, these skins will appear back in the list. They just can’t be bought with coins or credits. Don’t ask me why you have to do this in order to see them, but yea.
Edit: you probably only have to select legendary or epic depending on what kind of skin it is you want to see, but by selecting all then all the missing skins appear. Also some of them might still not be there, I haven’t actually checked for all of them.
