Why doesn’t CC count as an ultimate shutdown? Heroes like Ana, Sombra and Brigitte would all get recognized for the big plays they make that often go unnoticed by the POTG system currently

No, I didn’t forget that, but Doomfist already gets POTG a lot. I was trying to highlight how it would help heroes that typically don’t get POTG
With that change doomfist will get potg anyway because after cc ultimate shutdown he will propably do more than ana/sombra/brig in eyes of program that determinate who should get it, if you will not be put him as exception
The Doomfist would have to stay in his own backline and peel for his teammates to get ultimate shutdowns regularly… I’ve never seen a Doomfist use that playstyle
Welp i dont know how now people play him, but when i was plaing reaper agains him, i never was able to use my ult if he was alive.
I think that’s more of a “doomfist was focusing me and all his abilites happen to stun” than a “the doomfist knew I had ult and was waiting to cancel it”
Mayby but in that way he can easy shutdown ultimates even acidentaly, after what he kill someone and we got potg for free with your idea.

It really is weird, especially when I sleep someone like Hog or Moira in ult - that’s definitely a shut down. And I wish the game could register that Genji sleeping for 80% of his ult is a shutdown.

Well, they already get shutdown potg for interupting channelled ults. However Ana should also get it for making Genji sleep during his entire ult.
