Caught a hacker that HAS to be softhacking

How do I get blizzard to investigate a player? In my first game with him on Paraiso, he got a 5k all headshots 100% accuracy. Can’t grab that replay sadly

Didn’t think much, but the more games I got into with him, the more he just stood out as the player hitting shots from the toughest angles with barley any visibility on the player without sonic arrows.

Kills he got on my teammates were also questionable. Shot at me while invis and saw me through walls while I was invis as Sombra.

This guy seems like he’s so dependent on his scripts, he’s just good at hiding it backing up his every move, acting clueless when he can.

I watch overwatch streamers like Super and Dafran all the time. I don’t see them making these lucky predictions like this guy can this often.

not supposed to name n shame. But good luck getting ANYONE from the company to solve it.

It wont be until a number of matches go out and they receive automated reports that they will impose a ban.

And even then. it means nothing. Because the same person will be back AGAIN. since this game is free.

Take his name out of your post. The replay is enough for identification. You might get in trouble for “witch hunting”.

Yep, edit your post. Then report the game code to Blizzard. If he’s cheating, he’s likely not going to get banned until the next ban wave, though.

It’s always the Hanzo lol, at this rate Hanzo will get a bad rep for using hacks.
Also, quite ironic that Sombra is a hacker in game and she’s also the one that can easily sus out the cheaters.

What if they’re not actually cheating, and the player who thinks they cheated is wrong? False positives happen. Putting them on blast can cause problems down the road if they’re innocent.

Ngl, that didnt look suspicious at all.

Firstly I think you need to turn your volume up. You have it at like 5% or something. I had to crank the volume settings of everything (windows, youtube, and headset hardware volume) all to max to even hear things clearly, and it was still quieter than what I normally play at in game. I was afraid someone was going to message me on steam while watching your video and blow out my ear drums.

Secondly, if it wasn’t caused by trying to play the game in whisper mode, you need a new headset for sure. All of the sounds you made were highly directional and very obvious – both as soldier and yes including your footsteps “amongst 5 different footsteps” when you’re hopping around. You were actually very obvious and easy to identify there. I know I know… the mouse cursor “omg he is looking at me right through the wall” - no he wasn’t. He was looking to the right and glanced far enough to see what was over there. You happening to be around his crosshair behind the wall is coincidence. I know you dont want to believe that but it’s true. Watch gameplay footage from any good player and you’ll probably be utterly shocked at how frequently their crosshair will accidentally overlap or appear to snap towards people behind walls.

When he shot at you invis, it’s called prediction. He saw you go invis and run in that direction and took a guess around when you’d be there. I do that literally all the time, and it wasn’t even remotely surprising when I saw him do that. He was just a tiny bit late.

“Why did he look that way and not at the mega” - The TL directionality seems pretty obvious to me. Sorry bud I think you need new eyes.

The part after that is the only mildly “sus” part but mostly because your volume so so quiet I can’t turn it high enough to even listen for anything. But if he was walling you why the heck would he look where he did? That makes little sense. His reaction looks like a genuine reaction to something unexpected. It doesn’t make a lot of sense for him to look and do what he did if he know exactly where you were the entire time. However given that you recently got away in that direction, if he did hear something that would have been a perfectly genuine reaction to that.

“He looks at me before i even hack the health pack” - my dude, you were so incredibly loud right there. Of course he looked to his right??? He then shot a sonar arrow to try and track you and got nothing. Continues to proceed to point and can hear you decloak and shoot.

EDIT: Yeah watched the replay. Sorry man you just need a new headset or something. It’s extremely obvious the whole time. The “sus” part only looked sus because you cut it off from his perspective in the video. He is very clearly a low sensitivity player. He was not looking at you, he was turning left and had to lift his mouse up to continue turning. From watching your aim you definitely look like a high sensitivity player, so you likely aren’t familiar with how low sens camera movement looks.

Hate to break this to you but this is a legit player. He’s just way better than you.

“keep pretending like you don’t just see my teammate with your script lmao”: He wasn’t looking at the Soldier. Not only is the Soldier stomping like and elephant, the Hanzo didn’t even aim at him. The Soldier literally just ran through where the Hanzo’s happened to have his crosshair. He was looking at the general area where the footsteps are coming from.

“You aiming at the hog or Moira you can’t see? pick a struggle buddy”: he’s straight up not even aiming at anyone in particular. Even saying he’s “aiming” at the Hog would be a stretch which says a lot considering Hog takes up half the space in the narrow corridor that fight is taking place in.

“Literally looking at me through a wall lmao, He’s not hearing there’s literally 5 different footsteps right now”: You’re right, he’s not hearing your foosteps since you’re invis. But he’s not looking at you either. He’s panning his camera to see check the off angle, doesn’t see anyone, looks back, check the off angle again, gets hacked. Why would he look at you and then let you hack him without doing anything? If he’s walling why did he walk into that hog whom he would have seen and known about way more easily than he would you?

“?”: literally just spam. You could pick any Hanzo replay a count dozens of shots that narrowly missed someone who the Hanzo didn’t know the exact location of. Also I have to say that reaction time on the Zen has to be some of the slowest reaction I’ve ever seen, and emptying an entire mag into a wall barely hitting a single shot was quite funny.

“trying to shoot me while I’m invis lmao”: the guy is literally just spamming a corner people might peek. Worked like a charmed considering that 500IQ Mercy play that got her killed.

“just predicts my tp trails goes right to spawn not mega”: he would have seen your translocator if it was on the mega, and he did a 180 to the only place he could have seen something, he’s litrally surrounded by walls on every other angle, where did you expect him to look? Also what do you mean “predicts my tp trail”? There’s nothing to predict, you can see the the direction where the trail goes.

“Surely he just heard me TP to mega right?”: He’s barely even looking in the general area you’re in. If that’s the low bar for calling wallhacks, then hell I guess we’re all hacking as well. He turns towards the point in reaction to hearing Mei ult. I’d bet my left nut he has no idea you were in mega room.

“doesn’t even kill Ana just wants me”: stop flattering yourself.

“Looks at me before I even start hacking the health pack”: literally ults air after he hears you start hacking the mega. Truly a god tier hackerman this Hanzo.

“Sees me through wall, goes for me”: One again, looks in the general are of where sounds are coming from. Also the fact that you didn’t hear him wall climb twice, jump, and land right behind you, show how little you rely on sound, which might be why you think this guy is cheating.

If your little montage is the most damning evidence you could find in the replay, then I’m afraid you don’t have much to work with.

Actually you can hear her because she’s jumping/landing on the ground. That makes noise even while invis , and I thought it was extremely apparent and directional, too.

That’s the sad part. Blizzard didn’t just shoot themselves in the foot, no, they shot the foot clean off, with the move from buy to play, to F2P…

Phone numbers are too easy to get a hold of, cheats are too easy to get a hold of, and since this game went F2P, don’t have any proper anti-cheat to speak of, we’re all fighting a losing battle versus these cheaters.

Blizzard doesn’t care about providing legit players with a safe environment to play in. All they care about is the money they can milk from legit players and cheaters alike.

I had no idea as I’ve never heard it myself. Though no matter how hard I try I can’t hear any sounds coming from that direction in the clip. Could be the clip, I’m gonna have to try this in game at some point.

Also if she does make such an apparent sound when landing, wouldn’t Fitzy be a bit less baffled by being killed there? I’d assume he’d know about it being a Sombra OTP.

Bliz do not read or act on the forum cheating reports, or any other canals. Just report in-game when you suspect someone. The system is fully automatic, if someone gets enough reports (we don’t know the number), it results into a ban. Guy creates a new account and play again. That’s fundamental cycle.

If you don’t like the situation, stop paying money and playing the game - revenue and players population decrease are the only messages big corporation understand.

It heard it in the clip but its fairly obvious in the replay too. Strangely you can really only hear it well from the Hanzo’s perspective.

I imagine he knew it made sound, just not as pronounced as it was. The game intentionally softens the audio from Sombra’s perspective, so it’s not super apparentl how obvious it can be. There was a follow up to that shortly afterwards where Wanted (the Widow) showed screen recordings and stuff to try and show he wasn’t cheating. They were both streaming at the time and even people on his own stream thought it was sus lol.

But even small sound cues on a good pair of headphones can give insanely good directionality and information. Based on OP’s clip and the replay there’s absolutely no part of it that comes off as even remotely suspicious to me. I would have reacted similarly in every single scenario. In fact in cases like the soldier at the start of the clip I felt like it was even more apparent where he was, and felt like the guy in the clip was being somewhat oblivious.

But yeah, just looks like a person wearing headphones and making very basic predictive guesses about things to me.

Hello mate

Obvious waller with soft aimlock, ignore the rest of the idiots in this thread trying to gaslight you. Honestly significantly better at hiding it than your average dumb script kiddie in diamond/masters but still can’t mask the fact that he has access to way more information than he should.

  1. Hears soldier but can obviously see him anyway - proceeds to hold down bow the entire time and stare at a wall while a fight is ongoing to his right. His decision making stops and starts at killing soldier about to come down on his left even though there is no reason he has to take this duel while his team has advantage. Also tracks him perfectly on y-axis as he’s falling down and even though he obviously has the “aim” to hit him mid air when he would have advantage he makes no attempt to actually do so.

  2. Aiming at Moira despite a half hp hog literally in front of him is easy smoking gun for most hackers you’ll find in your killcam. Sometimes people get lucky while aiming at someone else and find your head, this guy literally doesn’t even aim at hog at all, which is because the software doesn’t actually know that any human being would be prioritising Hog here. It just knows that Moira’s head is close to his crosshair so he must be aiming at Moira.

  3. He then moves off to the side while Hog is like 3m in front of him to spycheck for Sombra with recon dart on CD. Like what’s there even to say about this?

4 onwards: Same recurring tell here is that unless his cursor is already near your trajectory/head he makes literally 0 attempt to even flick at body or head. Point in case he kills Mercy while spychecking (!) and then when seeing Ana later literally half asses some terrible arrows near her feet even though he clearly has the motivation to spin 180 degrees while tracking translocater. Also redirects dragon into a wall just because he hears you hacking. Nobody human does this.

Anyone who remotely knows what assisted gameplay looks like can tell this guy is cheating by maybe 20 seconds into the video. Common theme is the decision making of a low metal player but randomly having literal OWL DPS-tier aim.

If you want to report it maybe email hacks@blizzard.com with the replay code and a description but I’m not sure they particularly go out of their way to ban unless you are literally grandmaster/top 500. I know they definitely don’t care up until masters for sure though.
