Cassidy, stungrenade REMOVED. Replaced with Sticky grenade

Praise be, the stun god has fallen.

So they gave him even more burst damage potential?

It slows and do damage, and be thrown further
If anyone was curious <3

Is that sticky on the ground only or is it omni - directional with the same size of his current flash bang.

Sticks on the thing it touches first. It also has a slight homing feature (if close to enemy, it homes in).

So what is the sudden fixation on snares, which only work against immobile heroes instead of the hypermobile heroes who can just use abilities to bypass snares anyway?

They’re not going to accomplish what stuns were used to accomplish and turbodive and flankers will just eat everyone alive.

It homes in?! why? He does not need homing sticky grenade.

Against fast targets, Tracer, Lucio. Has Cassidy be at least somewhat effective against flankers.

Maybe these slow/snare effects will disable mobility CDs similar to Zarya’s Grav?

Ah, so he’s like a Hunter in Destiny 2 now, I can live with that.

Alright this is a tangent, but why does he get to have a better form of CC than Mei. Yes I know she can still slow but I think she can use something similar. A root ability tied to a cool down and skill shot.

Welcome to OW idea of balance

Lets remove big stun with big burst dmg snare pog. Looks like all of OW2 is just snares lol

insert doubt

Old snares like symm turrets didn’t do that, I doubt new snares will either.

Grav is completely different from a snare effect, it’s a complete immobilization.

I don’t know if it really is a better form. Mei’s damage is much higher, and the sticky grenade still takes aim. I think Blizzard made it a homing grenade because it was so hard to land. And it is still in Beta, so it might change somewhat.
