I’d be more in favor of removing his health buff to be honest because it allows him to survive breakpoints he doesn’t need to be surviving imo
Removing Mccree flash
Mccree then becomes the most useless hero in the game.
He would need a hitbox reduction if he had his hp reduced.

I think his stun should be a silence instead. Same with Brig.
If you already play outside if his combo range, he is just a dude with a gun and half of his kit is useless.

Now that he can roll out of uppercuts and piledrivers I don’t particularly know if that’s necessary. He’s just too dang versatile
He would be useless without his flashbang imo. But he could be buffed in other areas to make him just as viable even without flashbang which people hate.
He could have his health removed and still be a good pick no matter what anyone thinks
You don’t compensate a nerf to an already strong character otherwise that just leaves the character in roughly the same spot
Reduce Flashbang AOE from 3m to 0.3m.
Increase Flashbang range from 8m to 14m.
Add Flashbang projectile arc.
Remove 25 HP.
Buff Peacekeeper to 75dmg per shot.
Combat Roll increased to 8m.
FTH reduced from 50-300 to 50-250.
Essentially what this does is makes Cassidy a skillshot hero.
Flash+Fan combos do not reward mechanical skill or high game-sense. It is a “get out of jail free card” for handling flankers and divers, and for abusing tanks.
It’s basically a free kill if the Flashbang lands, which requires low skill. It needs to function more like an Ana Sleep Dart and actually be a skillshot.
By decreasing the AOE but increasing the range, Cass players would have the option to stun targets further out (as a skill shot) and then left click them (another skill shot).
Not only do these changes weaken Flash+Fan combos, but they give him an alternative skill based combo which has more killing potential.
I think cassidy’s flashbang AOE could be reduced too. Since as of right now, it feels way too big and forgiving. If it was smaller, it will introduce a skill floor to the ability so only good players who can aim will be able to get the most out of it. I think his right click (FTH) is a lame and gimmicky ability that should be reworked into something else.
As a compensation buff, I’d like to see his effective range go from 20 - 40m to 25 - 45m like baptiste. It shouldn’t become too OP since ashe and soldier’s effective range will still be longer (30 - 50m).
