For once in a couple seasons, cass does not feel like utter garbage. But, hes still not great. His shots feel very consistent and he can tank damage decently well. His range is still atrocious however, as is only having 6 bullets when it takes 4 to kill. The biggest criminal for me though is hinder. It lost all its effectiveness, and just fundamentally is a bad concept for a sharpshooter character. Would love to have it replaced with something synergetic with the rest of his kit.
In conclusion, putting it into simple terms i feel Cass has moved from a D tier character to a C. However, his character is in desperate need for a rework. Feedback appreciated thanks.

Me when I lie. Cassidy is probably the third best dps right now. The best in the close range category

I would say hes still d tier he just doesnt have the ammo i think he needs a 2 ammo buff personally

GM Cassidy main here he’s honestly pretty good this patch after playing like 10 games with him
The range limitation is not as bad because every single weapon in the game is so much easier to use now. I can see them toning everyone down, don’t think Cass is a huge problem but we’ll see. He’s very good if Mercy pocketed and with the extra bulk you can actually play well in his effective range and not get completely blown up

I agree, he feels very consistent though i do think he gets outmatched by quite a few dps particularly with pockets.
I strangely agree on the range as well, i think with headshots being so consistent buffing his range would be dangerous. I think he rather needs buffs within it, ammo, cds, new nade, etc.
I also agree on him definitely not being too problematic rn, particularly compared to the other dps, i am very interested to see the new winrates and stats once some time has passed.
Also hard agree on hinder, just needs to be removed. Its caused wayyyyyyy too many problems for him, and it sucks.
Hinder is amazing because it prevents me from using my wraith. I hate.

Cassidy is literally the best close to mid range dps.
Mei, junkrat, symm, reaper, torb are all worse.
He counters flank dps even harder

Cassidy is the only hero that I would be fine with a rework because they butchered his identity. I just want a fun revolver cowboy. I can accept any changes to him.

Both would work just fine imo. Flashbang i feel with the increased healthpools would be completely fine at this point, with some slight adjustments
