Can't stop losing in random heroes

Hello, so I got a big problem. I just keep on losing in mystery heroes. I’ve always preferred that mode as it’s interesting but I can’t getting 7-9 loss streaks and I really need some tips because I’m really close to just uninstalling. It wasn’t this bad in the past I think and I got my good moments but… yeah that can’t keep going.

Part of me is to the point of thinking there some conspiracy (pissed off some employee and he made it so I get really low chance to win or something).

PLZ help :frowning:

With the 2 mystery game modes you kind of have to put less value in winning and more on doing well on the heroes you get. The random nature of the matches can stack the odds heavily against you.

Like… this week? Or for a few months? If it’s just today I’d step back and maybe just come back later when you’re not likely worn out or tilted.

We love to blame everything but ourselves. When your reasoning for why you lost involves vast conspiracies… mayyybe just go with the more plausible reason that you’ve developed a bad habit or might be having a few off days.

It’s also possible you’re just having some bad RNG… which happens too. If your team is just getting heroes they don’t know how to use or maybe you aren’t trying to work together or even if the other team gets a lot of good comps… that’s nobodys fault… but it’s possible.

There’s a lot of rng to the gamemode but you can also abuse the way it plays. Couple things I do:

  • Play your life super safe when you get a character with a good ult or a kit you’re good with. Like way more than you would in a normal game. Ana is a good example, it pays off to be extremely defensive and play around your nano boosts and ranged pressure. She’s one of the giga carry heroes in MH. Hanzo is another I like to play defensive with cuz I know I’ll get 2 or 3 random headshots in a row. Soldier too
  • Pay extra attention to their team comp for weak links like a lone healer or tank with no healers. Getting rid of them early will throw off their mojo for quite some time esp if they never RNG onto another.
  • Corner play, healthpack control, line of sight management goes a REALLY long way in MH especially when you have nonstandard hero comps like 4dps or no shield tank. Less dmg you take and the harder you are to deal with = the better
  • Don’t be that person who gets hyper aggressive when they’re at 90% ult charge and then they dies at 99% :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
  • Know when to feed and try to RNG onto a better hero. Just dont do it too often because ult advantage is probably the strongest thing in MH

Here’s a big one, don’t be afraid to ‘feed’ a hero that simply is hard-countered by the enemy line-up.

…now I’m not saying make it obvious so you get reported but maybe just ‘stay in the enemy line of fire’ a little to long…you copy?

I’ve seen so many Sombra’s stay alive the whole round and contribute a big, fat, zero to the team when they could’ve simply fed and got a better hero (vs the enemy line-up).

This person gets it…
