So i just got a warning that my behaviour is not in line with player standards and that people are reporting me. I get called slurs every game because I am a doom main, and get reported regardless of how i perform. I’m queuing dps and support now for a week at least to not get banned just for playing my favourite hero. Sucks to be me.

Welcome to the club, I have like 3 accounts just to play Doom and multiple bans. High win rates and per 10 stats, no chat used.
The key is to rotate multiple accounts to avoid the ban if you main Doom. Learned that trick from a few pros back in the day.
You know its bad when even zbra has to rotate accounts

If I had to have multiple accounts just to play a certain hero, I would think about it. But it seems that telling you this here is just as pointless as people seem to do in-game all the time.
you know what would be a crazy fix for this? If they could some how make doom a DPS instead of a tank.
I still to this day don’t understand why they added doom in as a tank instead of just making some new tank heros… (I assume the reasoning was going down to 1 tank they wanted to have more options in the tank roster) but that’s the weakest dumbest thing I can think of that even starts to make some sense.

All three of dps Doom’s cooldowns had some sort of cc, and they wanted to shift most stuns and boops away from dps and into tanks.
I’m having a lot of fun playing tank doom in quickplay but even there I get my share of ragers; seriously, doomfist is the only reason I’m finding tanking tolerable.
i suppose. I’m sure they could have just toned them down like they did with mei. Her freeze doesn’t stun or freeze you anymore just slows you down a little.
The uppercut isn’t any different than pharah boop or junk rat mine so you could leave that, they could remove any CC from the ground slam, and his big punch they could remove the stun from it but leave the boop in and that’d probably have fixed everyones issues with doom 
Just my take on it but I never liked doom anyway so I don’t play him.
I still think Blizzard should’ve tried harder to make Mei a tank instead of the lazy effort they put in that one time.
a mei tank would have been kinda cool actually… give her 2 ice walls and all you’d have to do is make her 500 Hp with some armor done. no reworking needed
Do you get reported for playing DF, or do you get reported when it’s not working, but you insist on staying on him?
Single tank sucks for everyone because everyone swaps to counter tanks, and if you’re stubborn, your team suffers…that’s why they report you.
Peak 60 something on doomfist back in the day, so if im playing him in plat 9/10 times its not on me.
The problem is very few know how to play doom properly, and even fewer know how to play with a doom properly.
Masters and below he could be the best player there is but it doesnt matter when your team cant survive without being baby sat.
Plus if they counterswap and blow all CC on Doom, in plat the dps dnt push that to clean em up. In higher ranks its a win each time.

And the problem has already been identified.
Although you realize that your teammates don’t know how to play with you/Doomfist, you are not prepared to change tanks and would rather accept defeat.
You are the problem and the reports are clearly justified.

People have caught on that you can just report people if you don’t like anything. I don’t mean if you don’t like them, I mean if you don’t like how it smells outside then report someone. I now report everyone who does anything that could ever be remotely considered not perfect. If someone misspells something they get reported, if someone misses a shot I report them (even if they are on the enemy team and aiming at me), if they do any kind of voice line then I report them, literally if I sneeze and think it may somehow be because of someone in the match then I report.
I get messages that blizzard has taken action.

That’s not true either. If your team only knows how to play brawl or poke and the map demands mobility and dive tanks; you’re screwed no matter the tank pick (Numbani first point and El Dorado).
Another classic: Opponent has an Orisa. The best way is to ignore the Orisa and attack the backline. Your team only understands brawl/poke (or worse, a combo of both) and just shoots Orisa. You don’t have a Zen.
If the other team is dumb, they will do a tank vs tank shootout. If they’re smart they’ll off angle or flank and pressure your backline.
In that case and no matter what, it’s a major uphill battle as a tank.

you have just as little understood that it is more important to play the tank that harmonizes with the team than the tank that is meta or should theoretically be the best pick.
Nonsense. What harmonizes with the team and what the team needs aren’t the same. Harmonizing loses games just for the sake of not getting reported. What the team needs wins games, but will make some teammates who don’t understand or want games played their way angry.
When I’m losing when playing Rein or Junkerqueen even though my team is full brawl; and then I turn it around playing, say, Winston even though it doesn’t “harmonize” then what does it matter?
